What happened in Rahul Vs Arnab interview was more like two
guys struggling hard to make each-other understand their views. Indeed it went
like one was speaking French while other was trying hard in Italian. Calling it
an interview would be a grave insult to all those who ever gave or took one.
There was not much that one can conclude from this
interview, except the obvious fact- Rahul Gandhi is a Dud.
It was moreover like Rahul Gandhi giving his mugged up
speech which was being interrupted again and again by some enthusiastic
activist like journalist.
Though the crocodile skinned Shehzada didn’t lost his track
even for a moment and kept on repeating what he has actually prepared. RaGa
should at least be acknowledged for the exemplary skills which he displayed for
being undeterred by any and all questions. No matter howsoever hard Arnab tried
but Rahul Spoke only what probably Mumma has taught him.
Someone Rightly pointed on twitter that it was actually a
cool reminder of how we dealt with eternal vivas during our college days.
Actually whenever during viva we go clueless by questions we just blabber
anything so that the examiner just gives us the passing marks and let go.
It was Ok to pass science exam that way but it isn’t ok to
become the prime-minister doing the same.
Arnab and Rahul fought hard to find some common ground
during the one and half hour, we-won’t-listen-each-other interview. While the
former tried really tough to find out some answer, the later adamantly refused
to go beyond RTI, Women Empowerment and System.
It was one hell a conversation despite the presence of Arnab
Goswami. If sitting on the other side of the television I was feeling like
banging my head on to the wall, I don’t know how bad ArGo must be feeling.
For him of course it was a historic chance. The political
scion of India’s first family has finally opted to face some questions and
miserably he zeroed on no-one other than proclaimed man eater. Nevertheless
going by how RaGa performed during the whole conversation, even any debutant
journalist would have carried it the same way.
The only good thing is that by wasting Arnab’s one and half
hour he has finally given a last warning to the Nation to save their Vote and
Save India.
Most probably Arnab would still be busy finding out the
questions for which Rahul had answered.
