The Star Of My Life!!!

“Hello Darling….It’s just 06:30 AM” I murmured picking up my cellphone which was ringing since what felt like eternity.

“And I am calling you from last one hour honey” Said She.
“Yeah, that’s exactly what my concern is?” I retorted back.

“What? Don’t you remember I am flying back to you today” She said, a bit angrily I guess!
“Yes, I do but wasn’t your flight scheduled for a 10:30 arrival”

“You remember the time right but as a matter of fact I live a good 3 hours away from the airport sweetie!” said she in her cute lovely tune.

“Ok,ok, I get it, so you have left the house & I am supposed to give you company so that you do not feel bored, Right?”

“No, Wrong, I have lots of books to kill my boredom. I called you because I am travelling all this way, taking all this pain just to meet you & you cannot just enjoy all this pleasure with simply sleeping on your bed. At least you need to stay awake with me”

“As you say Madem”

If it would have been anyone else waking me up from my early morning nap just for the excellent reason of having some chit-chat, I would have surely cursed them to death. But this was different because it was her and I really loved her too much.

We chatted for hours since she boarded the flight. The airhostess has to literally force her to cut-down that line & even after that we managed to steal a soft kiss. She was the best thing that has ever happened to me & here she was coming all the way from Bangalore to Delhi just for me.
I Love Her Too Much, I really do!

These last few months have been a roller coaster ride for me & had it not been for her I am not sure how well I would have come out of it. I had left my job around a year ago to start working on own start-up. Founded a company, got it registered, hired few employees, earned few projects but suddenly everything went south.

Two of my core team members resigned. We hardly managed to deliver the ongoing projects on time. Ongoing deals got cancelled just before the last moment & from then we have not recovered well. We hardly survived & were not sure for how long would we be able to keep running.

But as they say, everything happens for a good reason. When I was all down and my friends & family were all busy thrashing me for being too experimental, it was only she who stood by my side & gave me courage to fight.

I remember her exact words when I told of the problems in my company, she said “Don’t let temporary problems hamper your permanent goals. Failure is as much part of life as much success and there is nothing to depress about it. It is just a lesson that we need to learn & I know we will do it together. I am there for you today and I will be there for you when you will one day come out of that office of yours with a winning smile because I know you will.”

We not only survived but bounced back as well. Her faith in me really made me determined & we together worked day & night to realize our dream.

Today that day has come & I wanted her to be my side when we sign for our first dream acquisition.
It was really her words, love & warmth which brought me this far. I believe it is only in darkness that you can really see the stars & I had found a very special star in one such phase of darkness.

The Journey called Life

Nothing in this world is permanent still human beings spend considerable effort and money to churn out their pearls of wisdom and make a comforting place for them called home. Life away from home makes us realize why it is worth it. Also it is befitting to miss it always like a close companion.
Home is one prime thing that sounds livelier to us than many other breathing mates. Then why is it so that we have to leave it apparently at some phase of life even though keeping it in high reverence? That is how life’s bare truth are, harsh yet inevitable.

I had left my home a good 6 years before. The plan was to go get enrolled in a coaching institution for to build a foundation to get an admission in some prestigious institution for pursuing an engineering graduation. The line may sound rhyming but it could not culminate in the right song. Apparently plan’s execution didn't go so well in order. Though I managed to get admitted in one little less prestigious institute and finally after four years of experimentation with various survival skills can now finally boost of an engineering degree. The efforts didn't go in vain, I may not remember the tough integration formula or the derivation for some Newton’s law but evidently some life lessons that I learned are truly unforgettable.

It is in these days of living away from home that you realize the importance of finding an ironed shirt in the wardrobe or getting mouthful of breakfast before leaving for college or office. Many such things which previously seemed obvious now become hard to have. You have to either rent a flat and thereafter manage your own meal or could opt to become a victim of unidentifiable hostel food.

In this home away from home your friends fill in for the place of your family members. They are the support elements in all your endeavours, irrespective of whether it is right or wrong. They are the driving force of your voyage. They simplify many problems, even often to make way for some others.

I have the privilege of getting company of many awesome buddies. Though the list thinned out with time. I do have some regrets about quite a few things, notions that some matters could have been dealt in a better way but still the optimist inside me believes in the line that whatever happens, happens for the best. Howbeit it is quite exaggerated but just replacing best with good would work for me.

I have had heartbreaks, felt being ditched at times, had depressions, ailments, mishaps and what not but eventually everything made way for a life that’s good enough to live thoroughly. I like to have fun at all times of happiness and sadness. I have learned it the hard way that being happy is the only solution of how not to be sad.
Howsoever great you may be but evidently there would always be lesser number of hands to wipe your tears in comparison to number of people to raise a toast and say cheers.

Being a Gemini I have a habit of getting too involved with people. I don’t know any midway of being in a relationship. Either I like you or I don’t. In both the cases the amount of care or the sign of displeasure would be clearly visible. I am too bad at holding back my feelings. I cannot bluff a relation; I don’t like it at all. These things have caused more problems in my life than anything else.
In a time when many people even leave Chameleon bewildered with their acts, I feel proud to have some real companions to bang on. My trust has been breached, heart has been burned but the soul still wanders for to find solace in togetherness. May be that is what makes life beautiful- we don’t lose hope.

I am still on with the journey, learning continuously and shedding off the ungrateful burdens daily. May be, it’s Time to move on again!!

Oh Kareena, You Don’t Need It Dear!!

Kareena Kapoor infamously said she would not fast on karva chauth, she does not needs to be hungry for a day to prove her love. Yes! How right she is.

I don’t understand why media has gone mad over her statement. First thing first as a kareena kaoor khan, she isn't required to even acknowledge this day at all. Secondly I don’t think she wanted to create such a stir of her views, but who can stop Indian media. Even a channel did a one hour special on this one line of statement. Great power of imagination it would have taken and moreover they claimed it was a news show!!

But here I am just extending my whole hearted support to bebo in her stand.
Dear you don’t need to fast at all, it would be really very-very difficult for you after all that zero figure you acquired with months of regular and continuous eating, I understand being hungry is not at all possible for you and its not at all your cup of tea.

Also you have already proved your love for him with innumerable pre and post marriage vacations with him. And he has also done his part by excluding his son and daughter, who’s of your little sisters age and of whom you are technically now a mother, from such vacations.

I agree love can not be proved by such things but I would have been happier when you would have said any similar thing for that famous tattoo of nawab sahab, or I guess that was the most essential requirement for love?

Dear, you have also gotten married very traditionally may be due to family pressure, I have seen you guys In and Out of temples maybe only for movies, but despite all odds and evens its better to honor faiths of masses. You may be well too knowledgeable to understand the practices of mere ignorant but anyhow these are the only people who have made you what you are today. Practice whatever you like but don’t question what other persons are doing for their religious beliefs because in that case you would also be exposed to revelations and even with harsher questions of your past and present.

Kareena it’s good to practice your own views but its better for a public figure to keep its mouth shut when they don’t realize what a thing would mean to a large section of people. It’s not just about dancing on bole chudiyan but it’s probably one of those things that have kept you mother’s and father’s love alive even after so many years. Respect to get respected!!
