Is Mr. Vadra Scared of Mango People now??

Amethi Election 2014 Robert Vadra
Sonia Gandhi filed her nomination from Raebareli two days ago. Other than her affidavit stating her fortune being only close to 10 crore rupees, what astonished many was the absence of Priyanka Gandhi and Robert Vadra.

While local congress members remained bemused at it, the family spokesperson was heard saying that Priyanka has fallen ill and Mr. Vadra also preferred to remain by her side.
It must be noted that this was the first time that Priyanka and Robert bunked Sonia’s nomination since 1999.

Speculations are high that Robert Vadra has been advised to remain away from any kind of spotlight till the elections. It is not long ago that Vadra was in the eye of the storm when Aam Aadmi Party functionaries levied serious land scam charges against him. It was certainly one of the most prominent direct accusations on the holier-than-thou first family of Indian politics.

Indeed Congress led government in Haryana gave a clean-chit to Vadra in a record time-period of less than 24 hours which would most probably be the fastest inquiry in the history of Independent India.

Not taking For A Ride Again!!!
There have been many hues and cry over the status Mr. Vadra has always enjoyed. Many issues like his exemption from any security checks on Airports and a SPG protection have always been a matter of public debate since a long time. But never before the recent land scam charges, Vadera became the fossil for front page news.

This certainly had hit the first family in the most unexpected manner. At a time when congress is playing defensive after indulging in historic level of corruption during its regime, it can be termed a good move to keep Mr. Robert Vadra low on profile.

Last year Mr. Vadra has even led independent bike rallies for Rahul Gandhi. This year one Kumar Vishwas is campaigning hard in the Gandhi scion’s bastion. Kumar Vishwas was particularly critical of Mr. Vadra during recent Delhi assembly polls. He never missed an opportunity to take a jibe at Jija Ji.
Sending Robert Vadra in Amethi now can have even bitter consequences. Whatever one may say of Kumar Vishwas but he certainly is an orator and what he would make of a campaigning Vadra in Amethi is not hard to predict.

All this while Congress is all set to lose much of the things, keeping Vadra out of it is an appropriate face saving move for the first family.

And Mr. Vadra you weren’t actually right, India indeed is not a banana republic of mango people!!!
