It was just before yesterday that I had received a beautiful
Colgate hamper with three sets of dental cream Anticavity toothpaste that came
in a special Magical Space Adventure range of the company.
Premier toothpaste brand Colgate has come up with a new pack
that offers a magical world of fascinating space characters tucked inside. Parents
can get the whole set of all 15 space characters and props by purchasing three
packs of Colgate toothpastes. These three sets are aptly named Space launch,
Space Walk and Alien Planet respectively.
My little cousin excitedly opened up all three boxes and was
amazed to find beautiful space characters, smiley planets and rockets inside. I
helped him cut all the props from the box and we soon had a basket full of
different colorful characters.
The Kids World:
Kids have their own world of fantasies. The world where
there are no limitations and is bound by no known rules. My cousin soon called
two of his neighborhood friends and all were quite happy to find these new,
beautiful props to play.
One of them became the astronaut Will, the other one the guardian
of a space-station named Sam and the third one was the overall head who they
somehow preferred to call ‘Mission Incharge’ Tom. After a very serious discussion
the whole mission was planned. Inspired by some latest Hollywood flick that
they might have watched few days back, this mission was named: Comet Attack
2017!
Comet Attack 2017:
Indian Space Research Foundation (ISRO) has traced a comet
which is rapidly moving towards earth. It is expected to reach earth in next 7
days. Based on rotation and revolution patterns, it is expected to hit the
costal parts of India. The information has been kept secretive from the general
public and apart from a very small number of space scientists in ISRO only PM
of India knows about it.
Mission Incharge Tom has called an emergency meeting after
completing the due preparation of the defensive action. Only Astronaut Will and
Guardian of Space Station Sam, are allowed, later will be joining through
Secure Line Video Conference.
Tom: You both know how important this meeting is.
Both nod.
Tom: We have acquired the necessary ammunition and funds for
the mission by the direct command of our PM. The world will know it as a
satellite launch, however only we three here know the real purpose of tomorrows
rocket launch.
Sam: I can see that we do not have enough time and our space
station and large part of country is directly in path of the comet which can
fall anytime of next week.
Will: Yes, that is why I am coming with our long range
nuclear missile by tomorrow’s rocket. I will dock with your space station after
14 hours of the launch. Then we will have exactly 24 hours to prepare the
launch gun and shoot the comet from the station.
Tom: Yes, you both will need to remember that for everyone
to be safe it is extremely necessary that the comet is destroyed much before so
that our bombs range doesn’t affect us.
Will and Sam (In Unison): Yes Sir!
Tom: Good, go Will prepare yourself for the launch and Sam
you revise the account of all satellite positions in the space so that we do
not harm any other thing.
Meeting is adjourned!
With this the kids barge out with their props and come out
of role. Our little astronaut, their head and the space scientist are all
carving for some cold drinks and chocolates.
I guess saving the world will have to wait till tomorrow as
they pack their props properly and decide to continue the game same time, next
day.
